Last week, we got to hang with the awesome Scott Kramer, a contributing editor for Forbes Magazine. The team showed him around, gave him the run-down of our newest Go! bikes and then sent him out to ride the coastline and conquer the hills of Encinitas on our Townie Commute Go!
Recently, I fell in love. It wasn’t love at first sight, more of a slow burn. I was immediately attracted, but it took some time to make an approach. In fact, it took months and I was so glad that I finally went for it. After our first date, I knew this was the one for me. I even showed my new love to my wife and believe it or not, she was thrilled.
“I want to drink my coffee while I ride to work.” It’s as simple as that. And trust us, we want to too.
Riding an Electra bike can bring back memories and a special sentimental feeling to riders. It's a child-like joy that never gets old. An Electra fan, Michiel V., shared his story and experiences with us on his connection with his Amsterdam.
Q: Why did you choose this Electra bicycle?
From our friends just about two hours north, the folks at Los Angeles Magazine know that there is plenty of adventuring to be done in Southern California's winter season. The mountains and desert are in one direction, and in the other direction, you'll find suburban neighborhoods and (our favorite place) the ocean. Just a few of the awesome activities include kayaking, skiing, swimming, running, and of course, biking.
Electra Bicycle Company started in 1993 and has become the leading lifestyle bicycle brand in North America. It's been more than 25 years since our start, so we decided to take a little trip down memory lane by having some Electra employees answer questions about our history.
As you know, we love hearing stories from fans about receiving an Electra bike as a present. Slap on a big sparkly bow or ribbon and make dreams come true. Here are just a few stories we wanted to share...
Hubby gave me one for Christmas one year complete with an engagement ring in the basket!! Best Christmas ever!

Seventeen Magazine has put together a list of "quirky chic" must-haves inspired by Beauty and the Beast heroine, Belle, and we can't disagree with their picks. From paisley printed boots to a dainty madeline baking set to the timeless Chanel No. 5, this wintery list captures all things classically feminine. And don't forget Belle's preferred mode of transportation - our Ladies' Ticino 7D in Lemon Chiffon.
